Fiona Bevan, headliner at Meet the Authors

Fiona Bevan is our headliner for the live performances at Meet the Authors. She is a multi-platinum selling songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, lyricist and arranger from Suffolk, UK. With Ed Sheeran she co-wrote One Direction‘s Number 1 hit song ‘Little Things’ from their globally chart-topping album ‘Take Me Home’. Fiona also wrote ‘Voodoo Doll’ with 5 Seconds of Summer which features on their Number 1 debut album.

Fiona has recently worked with Chess Club Records/Sony’s brand new signing Billie Marten co-writing the singles Live, Lionhearted and Heavy Weather all featuring on her debut album that gaining radio support from Lauren Laverne, Huw Stephens, Fearne Cotton and Zane Lowe.

Fiona is currently writing for the debut album by Tom Walker (Relentless); a creative partnership that has resulted in the release of his stunning single Play Dead which has had immense support from Radio 1, BBC Introducing this year and will be used to launch Tom Walkers album globally. Fiona also has two confirmed cuts on the forthcoming new album by Lights released via Warner U.S.  This spring will see two songs Fiona has co-written on the brand new Steps album released through Fascination Records.

Fiona’s compositions are extensively synced on TV shows, commercials and movie soundtracks throughout the world. 2016 saw her compositions appearing in Darren Starr’s hit show Younger and her track Slo Mo Tiger Glo used by HSBC. Most recently,her song, Angel Like You recorded by Una Healy (The Saturdays) featured in the motion picture soundtrack Mum’s List while her collaborative works with Stuart Crichton (Selena Gomez/Delta Goodrem) were synced in commercials broadcast in Europe and Australia/New Zealand.
